President’s Message

I hope everyone is enjoying these last few weeks of summer! School will soon be starting and as parents, we will be encouraging our students towards success in their education and futures! Becoming a parent volunteer at the school is a great way to help students succeed.  Kentlake PTSA offers many opportunities for parents to become
involved. 

One great way to get involved is to attend school events. Falcon Days on August 19th and 20th is the first of many events this year. While this event is mainly for students, parents are welcome to attend and
encouraged to stop by for a few minutes to find out more about Kentlake. PTSA and many of our committees will be present at Falcon Days. We would like to invite parents to come into the building and to visit our table for more information about our organization, to join PTSA or to purchase Kentlake apparel!

Mark your calendars now for the first PTSA general membership meeting of the year on September 20th at 7:00 p.m. in room 1106 at Kentlake. All are welcome to join us at any of our meetings. Attending this meeting would be a great way to meet other parents as well as learn more about Kentlake PTSA and ways in which your help might be needed throughout the year. Volunteers are always needed for our staff appreciation committee as well as our many student activity committees. We encourage involvement and welcome new faces.
